HitboxFix is a Minecraft plugin compatible with servers running spigot, paper and a lot of spigot forks. It is mainly designed for 1.8.8 server support.

By purchasing this package you will receive a mail with a download link of the plugin and a role on discord. A license may also be generated and sent to you in DM, if not you'll have to do /claimlicense HitboxFix on discord to receive the license.

You may already noticed that fighting on 1.8 servers while being in 1.9 is pretty hard ?

This doesn't come from new minecraft pvp system but from hitboxes.

In 1.8 and below you can attack other players like 0.1 blocks outside their hitbox.

But in 1.9+ mojang fixed this issue, however this is really unfair for backward compatibility.

This is why this plugin aims to emulate old hitboxes for newer game's versions.

HitboxFix change hitboxes for 1.9+ players on your server using packets. You can configure wich entity type to apply hitbox patch (currently not all types are supported but you can request to add one one discord). This plugin won't send any packets to your 1.8 players because they don't need it.

The main command is /hitboxfix or /hbf with required permission hitboxfix.admin.

Subcommands:

/hbf info -> Display plugin info
/hbf reload -> Reload config
/hbf position-mode <mode> -> Change position mode
/hbf damage-mode <mode> -> Change damage mode
/hbf add-entity <type> -> Add entity type to tracked entities
/hbf remove-entity <type> -> Remove entity type from tracked entities
/hbf enable -> Enable the plugin (already enable by default)
/hbf disable -> Disable the plugin

Note: These commands are mainly for debugging but can cause some issues.

If you encounter any bugs, need to request a license reset, lost your old discord accout please open a support ticket on discord. Same if you need to increase your ip limit (default is 1).
